“ Hey there, I'm James, the president and project manager of Elevation Design and Build.

I have spent my life working in the construction industry. I began with spending my summers framing houses all across Ottawa until college, where I earned my Architecture Technician diploma. It was soon thereafter, while working at an office job as an architectural designer, that I realized my true passion is working hands-on in construction.

I set out to work in many aspects of residential and commercial construction, from roofing and masonry, to carpentry, and interior finishing. I then worked as a site supervisor for two years with a local builder scheduling city inspections, subtrades, and material orders, all the while maintaining safety, and performing work on every home to ensure closing dates were met on time.

Since then, I have built my business and a network of trusted suppliers and subcontractors in every trade. ”
